The Foundation for Assistive Technology (FAST) works with the AT community to support innovation in product development and good practice in service provision.

Technology for All - consumer participation

  • Almost all (90%) of respondents to FAST's recent survey into user involvement in AT research and development sought user participation, but a third reported difficulties in recruitment. Details of findings are here.
  • FAST is developing a programme to help researchers and developers recruit and work with technology users in the research, development and evaluation process. For more information go here
